Thank you so much for your purchase of this 1940s playsuit, Dorothy. I do love the crisp blue and white gingham of this outfit and the low back. I thought right away of the Wizard of Oz, though you'll have to furnish your own Toto! The outfit comes on two layers, and if you can't use them both, you can always share with a friend! The skirts do not all have to be worn at once if you don't wish such a full look. You can just wear the one for the stomach and by pass the other two skirts. It's up to you as to what you want.
